 В этом редком югославском художественном фильме, больше похожем на документалку, очень точно и правдиво показана жестокость, с которой живут дети, пережившие войну и потерявшие близких людей. Немецкий мальчик Hanna Dessau после освобождения Югославии от фашистских войск, даже не смотря на то, что знает сербский язык, оказывается в непростой ситуации. По началу фильма, его должны интернировать в Германию, а точнее то что осталось от третьего рейха, где он собирался найти своего отца. Но так уж сложилось, что главный герой фильма оказывается на пороге местного приюта, где содержатся мальчишки, оставшиеся без родителей. И первое впечатление для Hanna Dessau от приюта окажутся пророческими, когда ватага мальчишек бежит за немецкой овчаркой, которая теперь в их в сознании ассоциируется с врагом. По сути этим же фильм и будет заканчиваться, только вместо собаки будет главный персонаж.
A young German boy is sent to an orphanage in Yugoslavia. The director of the school alters the boy's papers to insure he is not hounded for being German; although the war is over, anti-Nazi sentiment runs rampant among the boys at the school. The newcomer's background is revealed when he and the other boys get drunk. When he plays a Teutonic tune on his harmonica, he is accused of being German. The hapless harmonica player is put on trial by the other boys, interrogated, and nearly killed while the director remains helpless to stop the proceedings. It will take time and patience to change the orphans from readily accepting and acting out the violence they have known all their lives.

A handful of children are left to their own devices in this subtle drama from Argentine filmmaker Celina Murga. Maria (Magdalena Capobianco) is a girl in her early teens whose family lives in an upscale gated suburb. Maria's parents are going out of town for a week, and rather than leave her with relatives or hire a babysitter, Maria is put in charge of looking after her little sister Sofia (Eleonora Capobianco), with housekeeper Esther (Natalia Gomez Alarcon) serving as a nominal adult authority figure, though for the most part she lets Maria and the others do what they please. With only their parents bedroom off-limits, Maria and Sofia have the run of the house, and soon they and their friends Facundo (Lucas Del Bo), Quique (Federico Pena), Rodrigo (Ramiro Saludas) and Timmy (Mateo Braun) are spending their days exploring the place. As the kids begin creating their own rules to run counter to the ones their absent parents set down, Esther brings a young relative, Fernando (Gaston Luparo), to play with them, and the privileged kids begin to get a notion of they ways of the outside world. Una Semana Solos (aka A Week Alone) was an official selection at the 2008 Buenos Aires Film Festival.

 A line from Whitman, "There was a child went forth every day," starts this film: a visit to a farm that's a summer camp and progressive school for exploration and discovery. The children, as young as two or three, have room and time to question, wonder, and learn. We build a wading pool, use tools, climb and swing, bath a dog - and learn to live together. There are spats, and little adult interference. A tree house sparks children's imagination. They visit a neighboring farm, play with the animals and ride on a tractor that's plowing. They eat and nap. There's story time, easels for art, and a lollipop. It's the perfect place for city children to be safe from bombardment, says the narrator.

A policeman and his wife are the parents of eight children. They plan to add to their family when they hear the King will be the godfather on any ninth child born. The lawman spends his time discouraging others to have more than eight kids while he fines people for swearing at the King. A traveling show comes to town with a female singer who resembles the Virgin depicted in the stained glass of the village church. The men in town become enamored with the chanteuse but the policeman caves into pressure from jealous local women. An envoy of the King allows the woman to stay, and war breaks out before the situation can be settled and the couple's child becomes the godchild of the monarch.

This film is a social commentary about the mindless violence that is perpetuated on impressionable youth by television. Lorenz (Carla Gravina) has three young children who are victims of a media who wishes to turn out terrorists. She contends with her monstrous offspring and student revolts until she can't take it anymore. Lorenz takes matters into her own hands by planting a bomb in the factory of her estranged husband. The director attempts to illustrate the effect that Big Brother has on the lives of people and how they are subjected to behavioral conditioning beyond their control.

Но ничего не помогало, а тут ещё напившись на вечеринке она всем сказала, что объект её вожделений прямо около клуба тыкался членом ей в бедро, но никто ей не поверил и оказалась наша бедняжка в полной изоляции наедине с бушующими гормонами. В общем презабавнейшая норвежская комедия про то, как нелегка "жизнь Маруси когда вокруг лишь овцы да гуси".

Nord Italia. Fine anni Settanta. Estate. Alla periferia di una cittа in un quartiere abitato da immigrati del sud e e del nord est un gruppo di ragazzini, capitanati dal siciliano Carmine ha costituito come proprio dominio il Castello, due vecchi silos arrugginiti. Nel quartiere giunge un nuovo medico condotto, il dottor Boldrini. Il suo atteggiamento aristocratico intimorisce un po' gli abitanti i quali lo temono e lo ammirano al contempo. I bambini scopriranno un suo terribile segreto ma avranno timore di non essere creduti nel momento in cui dovessero raccontarlo agli adulti. Oggi Carmine, Sandro e Cinzia sono tre adulti su cui quel passato ha lasciato dei segni profondi. Daniele Gaglianone prosegue il suo percorso caratterizzato dal rifuggere dal facile successo e dall'indagine su quanto accade quando la violenza, esplicita o celata che sia, irrompe nelle vite delle persone imprimendovi il suo marchio indelebile. Lo fa con uno stile visivo complesso che interrompe l'impressione di realtа grazie a sfocature o a neri improvvisi che costringono lo spettatore a staccarsi dall'azione per concedersi un, seppure breve, spazio di riflessione. Se si vuole trovare un difetto a Ruggine lo si puт individuare nell'ampio tempo che si concede prima di entrare in situazione ma forse anche questo, nell'ottica d'insieme, finisce con il divenire funzionale. Perchй Gaglianone chiede disponibilitа allo spettatore. Una disponibilitа anche a farsi bambino e quindi a comprendere che la caratterizzazione di un sempre piщ raffinato Filippo Timi nel ruolo del dottor Boldrini ‘deve' essere esasperata. Per quei bambini di un'epoca in cui l'immaginario collettivo non era ancora stato pervaso da miliardi di stimoli visivi quotidiani, il dottore и un Uomo Nero delle fiabe. Й quel drago che un Sandro divenuto padre materializzerа sotto forma di gioco con il figlio, che Carmine continuerа a cercare di uccidere dentro di sй e che Cinzia proverа a combattere, consapevole che ha assunto forme diverse. Magari quelle di due colleghi del Consiglio di classe in sede di scrutinio incapaci di leggere le difficoltа di un'alunna forse abusata in famiglia ma vista invece con lo sguardo malato di una societа che si ferma all'aspetto fisico e si ritrova succube di pulsioni inconfessate che pubblicamente deplora. Un suggerimento: non lasciate la sala appena iniziano i titoli di coda. La ruggine non ha ancora smesso di corrodere lo schermo e l'animo dei protagonisti.

Fifteen year olds Ferris Whitney and Angel Bright meet when they attend the same summer camp and are assigned the bunks next to each other in the same cabin. It's hate at first sight as they are seemingly polar opposites: romantic and literate Ferris comes from a wealthy and thus privileged background, while streetwise and chain-smoking Angel is from the proverbial wrong side of the tracks. But they share one similarity: they are both virgins, the only ones of their age in their cabin. Due to pressure from their cabin mates, most specifically the aggressive Cinder Carlson, the two enter into a bet on who will lose their virginity first and by the end of the summer. Ferris, who initially seems more interested in the pursuit of the opposite sex, quickly sets her sights on Gary Callahan, the much older coach at the camp. But Angel finds her own target, namely Randy Adams, an equally streetwise boy attending the camp across the lake...
