An older adolescent girl has a number of sexual adventures in France, then moves on to Montreal and New York, there finding erotic pleasure, love and danger. Flashbacks place our heroine at approximately eight years of age and perhaps suggest that her promiscuous nature has been inspired by her father's incestuous advances towards her. Think of a mix between Daddy and Felicity to get the idea.

From the director of Marius et Jeannette, this story of two working-class families is a fable with an optimist streak. A young black man, Francois, is wrongly accused of rape by a racist policeman. The story is told in voiceover by his childhood friend, neighbor, and the mother of his future child, Clementine, who is white. The city is Marseilles as in the previous film, symbolic with its churches, prisons and ruins. Except in this film, director Robert Guediguian also ventures outside, taking the story to Sarajevo; two different cities, one devastated by war, the other by a bad economy and unemployment. A la Place du coeur won a Special Jury Prize at the 1998 San Sebastian Film Festival and was also shown at the 1998 Toronto Film Festival and the 1998 Montreal Film Festival.

On the night that Sayuri's father, Takakura, holds a celebration party for Shimpei, Satsuki leaves her son in Takakura's care and goes out of the house. Feeling uneasy, Shimpei goes to look for her but finds his mother dead, lying calmly and peacefully in the beautiful, white snow...Fast forward to the future, Shimpei has been offered a fake job in Tokyo. Sayuri's father arranged everything so that Shimpei would not interfere with Sayuri's marriage.

Madicken is a fictional character created by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Madicken appeared in 6 books, two movies—Du är inte klok Madicken (1979) (You're out of your mind, Madicken) and Madicken på Junibacken (1980) (Madicken at June Hill)—and a TV Series (1979). Du är inte klok Madicken is about a 7-year-old girl from Sweden, during World War I. The follow-up movie Madicken på Junibacken from 1980 is edited from various episodes of the TV production "Madicken" which screened in 1980. However, the events of the first film are set after the second film. Her full name is Margareta Engström, but the only time anyone uses it is when admonishing her. Her mother is a housewife - they have a maid who does the work around the house—and her father is the editor-in-chief of the local newspaper.

The actress, Jonna Liljendahl (born 6 November 1970, Stockholm, Sweden), featured in the TV episodes as well as the subsequent movies.

The scenes when they're in a city is filmed in Söderköping and the house "Junibacken" is Järsta Gård not so far from Uppsala.

The movies have been released with Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Finnish and German dialogue.

Stylistically compelling, morally ambiguous, and profoundly unsettling,
this Spanish psychodrama from writer-director Agustin Villaronga stands beside Pier Paolo Pasolini's Salo as one of cinema's most unflinching depictions of human depravity. The story opens in post-WWII Catalonia as former Nazi death camp "doctor" Klaus (Gunter Meisner) consummates his torture-murder of a young man by hurling himself from the roof of his house; this act, motivated either by a sudden attack of conscience or by some form of sexual mania, leaves him paralyzed from the neck down and unable to breathe on his own. We soon find Klaus lying prone in an archaic iron lung, attended by his stern wife Griselda (Marisa Paredes) and young daughter Rena (Gisela Echevarria). When they become unable (or, in his wife's case, unwilling) to look after him, Griselda hires handsome young nurse Angelo (David Sust), unaware that the young man is one of Klaus' former victims, who has maintained a detailed dossier on the "doctor" and his countless unspeakable atrocities. Thus begins a perverse and surreal manipulation of master/servant roles between the immobile Klaus and his equally demented attendant, as the young man attempts to recreate the nightmare world of the camps, even procuring more young victims for his former tormentor's amusement.
Though it could be asserted that the stylistically accomplished Villaronga has made a passionate artistic statement about mankind's capacity for unspeakable atrocities, his film may be construed as being one of those horrors in itself. At any rate, Tras el Cristal is not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.

With Roberto she has a five-year-old daughter, Domitilla, who lives with her own father, from whom Silvia is also estranged. The two siblings love each other very much. Domitilla moves in for the Christmas holidays, and, one day while rummaging among her mother's trousse, gets hurt by a syringe. Emotional turmoil ensues. Siddharta has to live on in spite of his parents' mis-doings. He sends Domitilla to do HIV, HBV and HCV tests without their parents' knowledge. Hence, he has to use his own name. That causes unexpected trouble.

Metta Meta Gakido Koza is a live-action comedy from 1971 directed by Mio Ezaki, based on a manga by Tanioka Yasuji. It’s a crazed blend of Benny Hill, Monty Python, and Takashi Miike’s Visitor Q. The main character is a lecherous boy, around twelve years old, who has a habit of hitting people on the head with an ax. (In fact, the characters are constantly inflicting violence upon each other, though there’s no blood.) Among the other characters are his brother, who is only a couple of years younger but is always dressed like a baby, and a “superhero” who wears a blue rooster costume with three leglike appendages attached for some reason. Occasionally, various characters grow huge buck teeth (a bit like the ones in the Monty Python sketch).

Создателей обвиняли в жестоком обращении с детьми и в результате этого правительство Великобритании было вынуждено запустить процедуру изменения некоторых законов в стране.

An ambitious four-part documentary series sees ten boys and ten girls aged between eight and eleven being given the chance to experience life without mum and dad for two weeks. Living in two 'villages' and separated on gender lines, they decide everything about how they live - what they do, what they eat, when they get up, whether they clean and wash and how they organise and entertain themselves.

Who will cope best without mum and dad? And who will build the better world - boys or girls?

У Мэррэл кажется есть все, успехи в школе, любящая семья, брат Каспер который ее обожает. Но в один прекрасный день все меняется. В школе она слышит неоднозначные намеки и прежде чем она начинает понимать, что происходит ее запирают в душе и издеваются по дороге домой. Мэрел делает вид, что ничего не происходит в надежде, что все пройдет.

Merel is a young girl with a lot of talent. She excels at school, is good on the springboard and is careful too. Her severely handicapped brother Kasper gets a lot of attention. Merel also has talent for singing. It is no surprise that she is asked for the school musical. But maybe Merel is a bit too convinced of herself. When people perform solos, she likes to sing along loudly. This doesn't fall on good ground though. People start ignoring her and she is getting bullied. All of the sudden Merel's life isn't that easy anymore, it will be hard to keep herself together.
