One of the most acclaimed Vietnamese films of the 1980s, The Traveling Circus won numerous international awards, including Grand Prix at Fribourg Third world Film Festival, Audience Award at Uppsala (Sweden) International Film Festival and First Prize at Madrid Women’s Film Festival.
With obvious influences from Bergman, DeSica and Fellini, director Viet Linh tells the bittersweet story of a small traveling circus from Hanoi stopping in an impoverished ethnic minority village in Vietnam’s central highlands. Through the eyes of a village youngster, we witness the magic of the circus, and the naïve hope that illusion can be transformed into reality. The Traveling Circus is an extremely realistic, sensitive and moving film, that is rarely shown either in Vietnam or abroad.

Boys will be boys and girls will be girls, but one child isn't so sure in this Belgian comedy drama. 7-year-old Ludovic (Georges DuFresne) is happy, healthy, and good-natured, but there's a bit of a problem -- he has decided that he's a girl. While his parents Hanna (Michele Laroque) and Pierre (Jean-Philippe Ecoffey) try to understand, Ludovic stubbornly refuses to listen to reason from his parents, teachers, or schoolmates. His fondness for wearing girl's clothes and frequent pronouncements to strangers that he's going to be a woman when he grows up become increasingly worrying, and things come to a head when Ludovic declares that when he's older, he plans to marry Jerome (Julien Riviere), the boy next door. It hardly helps that Pierre's boss, Albert (Daniel Hanssens), is also Jerome's father, and that he's notoriously closed-minded about gender issues. Will Pierre keep his job? Will the stress spoil Pierre and Hanna's marriage? And will Ludovic find the right shade of lipstick? Ma Vie En Rose was the first feature for director and screenwriter Alain Berliner.

Где то далеко в провинции, на задворках Апабамы, в местном мухосранске жила-юыла юная Луэллен, была у неё бабка, строгая религиозная мегера, а так же был папаша - раздолбай и алконафт частенько менявший своих жён-сожительниц. Луэллен была весьма талантливым созданием с неплохими вокальными данными и учитывая время - конец 50-х годов XX века, когда весь американский народ буйно фанател с Элвиса Пресли, она уединившись в лесу распевала его песни, находя в этом занятии душевный покой и умиротворение. Но - именно это увлечение и стало причиной трагедии - когда в их городок приехал кумир и у неё, как обычно, не оказалось денег на билет, её лучший дружок устроил ей подставу. В итоге ей пришлось танцевать и петь голяком, после чего её изнасиловал старший дружок в результате чего она и на концерт не попала и, что самое грустное - залетела...
В общем грустное драматичное кино о нелёгких путях провинциальных талантов - беспросветно и тупиково.

  Den sommeren jeg fylte 15 (The summer I turned 15) is the story Peter is telling the about a special summer, when he is invited over to summer holiday from bickering parents, to his aunt and uncle in th country. He's been there before, but this summer was quite one to remember.
The film is based upon the Youth novel by Knut Faldbakken, and is about a boy sensing his first real sexual feelings. Directed by Knut Andersen, it become a good and well told coming of age story. Peter has become in the age where he starts noticing sexual tension and what's going on around. Like noticing that his aunt and uncle also quarrels, when they think he is not noticing. H also discovers that his uncle is having an affair.
Together with a comrade the same age, he uses time looking at old erotic magazines. But the real important thing is when he meets up with a girl his same age and a 6-7 year older single mother which is not afraid to bathe naked, both giving him his first real sexual feelings and sexual experiences. His first real kiss before I goes on...
There"s also some subtle dramatic sequences here, but the film can be view by anyone above grown enough to understand the sexual tension, but teenagers will appreciate it most. Well played by all actors, and a charming story, but it feels quite dated today.

 Необычный даже для японского кино, сюрный и странный фильм о жизни, страсти и чувствах, описание из сети: Парень идет с девушкой по туннелю, поднимаются в гостиницу, чтобы заняться сексом. Он признается, что у него первый раз, она оказывается проституткой. Он жутко стесняется, у них ничего не выходит, продолжают лежать в постели и пересказывают друг другу свои биографии. Такое начало трогательного и поэтического фильма «Ад первой любви».
Первый секс, первая любовь у Хани показаны нежно и печально, без бодрого студенческого пижонства и  дурманной апрельской легкости. Что вовсе не говорит о сдержанности Хани – страсть его героев мерцаеи не в их жидком поведении, а бенгальскими огнями разгорается в их сердцах. Хани удивительно полифоничен. Очень рано он переходит на close-up, но его крупные планы – мгновения тишины, на них он показывает только молчащие лица, оттенки их внимания, переживания.
Хани удается очень тонко, на иголках, буквально игрой теней показывать половое возбуждение. Героя подозревают в приставании к маленькой девочке, гонятся за ним по улице, ведут к врачу, поддают воздействию гипноза. В  момент, когда герой бежит по улице, включается легкая эстрадная музыка, передающая безразличие к действительной ситуации и движение его мыслей совсем с иную интимную сторону. Звук очень важен у Хани, нередко саунд одной сцены – а это может быть и шум квартала, и балет Чайковского – перетекает в последующую. Так звук гуляет сам по себе, отодвигается от изображения, уходит в глубину восприятия. А экран оказывается лишь затемненным стеклом, за которым возможны любые секреты...

An insecure guy falls in love with a young nude model. But his past sexual abuse hinders him of loving inhibitedly. He meets a little girl in the park instead... The story isn't that linear and that's why the freely linked episodes of this film just takes you on a shaky underwater rollercoaster ride. Beautiful camera-shots, excellent editing, great music, great acting...

Фильм по одноимённому роману Томаса Бруссига. пронизанный самоиронией, на примере жизни обычной семьи и истории любви двух юных сердец, показывает абсурдность жизни в бывшей ГДР, трагикомичность повседневности. Нашего юного героя, у которого отенц работает в Штази, угораздило влюбиться в девочку из "неблагонадёжной" семьи и поэтому папаша начинает жёстко "прессовать" отпрыска неразумного для которого уготована такая же карьера в тайной полиции.
Фильм получился намного серьёзнее остальных экранизаций Бруссига, но все их объединяет ироническое отношение к ГДР и любовь главных героев.
Heroes Like Us presents as heroes ordinary teenagers and young East German adults, who in Thomas Brussig's (the novel and screenplay author) story, caused the Fall of the Berlin Wall. Our young hero falls in love, from an early age, with a girl whose family is not in good standing with the ruling Communist party. Our hero's father, however, is a member of the "Stasi", the secret state police. The father not only hinders his son's relationship with the girl, but he arranges for his son, after finishing school, to become a Stasi spy himself. The absurdities of everyday life in the former German "Democratic" Republic are comically (sometimes tragically) are exposed throughout the film.

CZ. Desetiletá Angelika tráví prázdniny se svým otcem v Karlových Varech. Otec Bachman je německý průmyslník, který ve Varech absolvuje lázeňskou léčbu. Angelika volný čas, kdy je otec na procedurách, tráví v hotelu pod dohledem laskavé recepční Vlasty. Jednoho dne se dívka seznámí se čtrnáctiletým Kájou. Konečně má nějakou zábavu. Bachman si je vědom, že dceru zanedbává, a když se jí zeptá, co by chtěla, dozví se, že poníka. Navštíví starého cirkusáka Vondráčka, který měl kdysi drezúru poníků, ale ten se nechce posledního koně vzdát. Zajedou i do pražské ZOO, ale ani tam nepochodí.Děti dají do novin inzerát a nakonec uspějí. Děda Hlavatý přivede poníka Bořivoje, který se Angelice na první podled zalíbí. Rodinka odjíždí zpět na neřátelský kapitalistický Západ, ale v přívěsném vozíku s nimi cestuje i Bořivoj.
EN. Angelika, a ten years old daughter of a spa visitor Bachmann is terribly bored in Karlovy Vary spa. Her father enjoys different spa procedures, trying to lose some weight, but the little girl feels to be only waiting for something to enjoy. Moreover, she cannot speak any Czech unlike her father. Kaja, a son of the hotel receptionist Vlasta, attempts to amuse her despite he cannot speak German. Both children make friends although there is the language barrier.

The story continues with what she has to deal with being a new kid and all, she falls in love...with a boy of course.

Innocence and prejudice weave together in a child’s story of betrayal.
Munted is an unusual story about an accusation of pedophilia and its terrible consequences. Set in 1961 in a remote rural community, it tells the story of a ten-year old girl and her friendship with a brain damaged artist. Told through erosions between film and drawing the film is a lyrical and brutal account of the cost of rumour and prejudice.
Set in the early 1960s Munted is an unusual film that tells the story of a mother who returns to retrieve Katrina, her almost feral daughter, from her sister’s farm. When it is evident that her sister is not going to give the child up, the mother’s attention is drawn to the child’s strange relationship with a brain-damaged botanical artist who rents a small cottage on the property.
Across the years of her childhood Katrina has befriended this man.
The artist, who can barely speak, paints delicate if somewhat discordant pictures of the world that surrounds him and it is via these that the story is told. For the first part of the film we are not sure of the safety of their relationship, but following a revelation, we see the cost of rumour on the innocence of their world. As an accusation of pedophilia takes hold the film builds to a dramatic and unforgiving climax.

Aron is a happy child in his family. But at some point things take a different turn, and his mother starts to lose her health rapidly. As this happens, the man in charge decides what's best for Aron without consulting the young boy's opinion, and the boy finds himself thrown out of his warm home into an orphanage in the woods. He's utterly displeased by what's happening, without knowing he has yet to face much worse. After a hard time getting over the harrassment of his classmates and being accepted as one of them, another obstacle on the way to his peace of mind faces him: His obnoxious teachers. He has no intention of being bad, but it's beyond his ability to blend into the revolting place he's in. The nasty treatment of the teaching crew gets the better of him, and he's not all that calm and passive anymore. But that leads into unpleasant events which Aron himself wouldn't want.
